Apply Now We are currently recruiting for a Construction Tutor on behalf of a Private Training Provider based in the Leicestershire Area who can deliver across a range of trades including but not exclusively, Bricklaying, Tiling, Carpentry and Joinery, Plastering, Plumbing and Painting and Decorating.

The role is a Full Time Permanent position and they are looking for someone to start ASAP.

The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate efficient learning and assessment of Level 1 / 2 construction courses to learners at Key Stage 3 and 4, they should have extensive knowledge of the construction industry and vocational education practices and be mindful of the challenging behaviours of learners supported by the Company.
Delivery will be to different groups of up to 6 learners from KS3 and KS4 each day who will access the provision one day per week for the entire academic year.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

* Level 2 or above Qualification in Multi Skilled Construction Trades.
* Teaching qualification (PTTLS, CTTLS, DTTLS, CertEd, PGCE) This is not essential as we are keen on hearing from Construction Professionals who are interested n furthering their career within Education.
* Assessors Award desirable but not essential (D32, A1, TAQA)
* Experience Teaching students up to Level 2 on a Multi Skilled Construction Course.
