The Role

Concept Resources are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our clients well established Milling team.
As a CNC Milling Engineer, you will require the following skills:

o A time served apprenticeship
o Good knowledge and experience in setting and operating milling machines.
o Experience in editing would be desirable.
o Experience using Fanuc(G-Code)controls to assist in running our milling section(desirable)
o A good knowledge of cutting data is desirable to machine aluminum and stainless steel for the Aerospace, oil and gas and high technical industries.

Location: Gloucester, Easy access from M5

Salary: £10-£12 Per hour (Neg DOE)
25 days holiday + bank holidays

39 hour working week (7.30am - 4.00pm Mon-Thurs, 7.30am - 3.00pm Fri) Overtime readily available(Between 4-8 hours available most weeks)

The Candidate

Qualifications: Time served apprentice, Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (level 3) or equivalent

Useful experience & knowledge

o Working within Sub-con machine shop.
o Problem solving and innovation.
o Willingness to help the team to achieve good efficiencies.
o Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team.
o Work proactively.
o Extensive experience in manufacturing.
o Experience in Turning would be advantageous.
